Poker Macro's!

Over the past week I've been photographing my poker set using my macro extension tubes. These devices magnify objects in the frame, just like a microscope. Jewelry, candy, insects, and many more small objects can be magnified for unique and interesting effects.

Initially I had only planned on shooting a single photo, but I began to play around with the pieces, trying out different setups and angles. I never imagined it was possible to do so much with a set of chips and a deck of cards. I'm not such a poker shark myself (my friends can attest to that), but the result has been incredibly rewarding.
